Dear Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Leader, Lover, Friend;
The miseducation of men, women, boys and girls has not only created alienation between the sexes, but also division within ourselves. Our limited beliefs about man- and womanhood have crippled our ability to live openly and peacefully together or on our own. Our misconceptions have taught us to fear, negate and subdue the empowered man or woman within us all. This has led men and women down adversarial paths for centuries, manifesting in accepted “traditions” of shame, pain, inequality, disconnection from our sons and daughters, sexual frustration, high divorce rates, financial instability, and spiritual unrest, just to name a few.
The Healing Man, Healing Woman global movement helps men and women to:
* Create a safe community in which to explore, express and nurture our complete selves
* Change the way we see ourselves and each other
* Evolve the relationship between the sexes
* Make the collective shift from “wounded” to “well”
* Work together to put ourselves back on a unified path
* Redefine manhood and womanhood in a liberating and empowered way
Men and women are not opposite sexes. We are complimentary. Once we embrace this truth, we’ll be on an important road to mending the connection to ourselves and each other.
